HR Officer job summary
We are recruiting for a HR Officer to join our busy school in supporting the Business Manager with the administration & guidance of the HR services within the school. In particular, you will ensure that records such as attendance, training, payroll, employee data and performance are kept accurate and up-to-date.
You will provide Line Managers with relevant guidance and coaching, create reports and information for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will manage staff attendance, Payroll and contracts and all recruitment and selection.
You will have a good eye for detail, be organised, able to manage difficult conversations and work at pace. Ideally you will have experience working in a school environment, or some awareness of Safeguarding responsibilities in Education especially in relation to recruitment. A generalist knowledge of HR procedures and Employee relations queries is important.
