What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an existing new role will be working within the new HR Operations Team within theTKAT HR Team structure. We are a growing dynamic department who work collaboratively and with passion, this is a chance to be part of our success story.

The HR Operations Officer will work with peers within the Operations Team, the wider HR Team, Corporate Departments (Finance, IT, Operational teams), School Business Managers and Headteachers. This is a varied role involving all aspects of the employment lifecycle including, recruitment,onboarding,inductions,probation,variation to contracts,absence management,family leave requests,note taking and updating HR databases.

We are looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic HR officer who is resilient and motivated, who is able to handle multiple priorities and work as part of a close-knit team with natural problem solving abilities. The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and with different personalities across an organisational structure.

  • The ability to demonstrate excellent written administration skills requirements as the successful applicant will produce letters, meeting and hearing notes.

  • Proficiency in managing, adapting and prioritising your own workload and use initiative to deliver high-quality HR support whilst taking account of confidentiality and GDPR.

  • Experience and the ability to demonstrate confidence when using HR, Payroll and Recruitment systems.
