Venn is seeking to appoint an experienced part time HR Business Partner to work across our growing trust with effect from April 2025.

Working under the Director of Operations (who is a HR specialist) the post holder will support on the day to day case work, and general HR queries across our 14 (soon to be more) alongside an existing HRBP. They will have experience at working at a senior level within HR and have excellent communication skills. The postholder will support each Principal and School Business Manager in their unique settings with all their people management related queries, as well as working on people related projects and monitoring HR across the trust to ensure compliance and consistency.

Venn Multi Academy Trust is a group of inspirational and aspirational mainstream and specialist schools in Hull, Doncaster, Rotherham, and North Yorkshire whose main objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the development of outstanding staff. Having an experienced central team is integral to supporting our schools and Venn is looking to develop its capacity. Independent travel around our trust in and between our schools is essential; but mileage will be reimbursed.

The post holder will work from the Venn Base in Doncaster and the schools in the surrounding area for the bulk of their work, however a day in the Hull in the central office, will be expected fortnightly. Driving and access to a vehicle is essential. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Specific days and hours are negotiable for the successful candidate. Hours may increase as more schools joint the trust.
