Watling Academy is seeking a dynamic Humanities Teacher to lead our students on an exciting learning journey through History, Geography, Religious Education and Sociology.

As a member of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to ignite curiosity, critical thinking and empathy in our students. From exploring the captivating narratives of history to unraveling the wonders of the Earth's geography, you'll guide students through immersive experiences that foster a deeper understanding of the world around them. You’ll inspire students to explore diverse beliefs and practices in RE, promoting reflection and empathy towards others. Meanwhile, in Sociology, you'll delve into the complexities of societal dynamics, empowering students with invaluable research skills and insights into the world they inhabit.

Watling Academy was judged as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in May 2023 and is a purpose-built 11-18 secondary school in its fourth year of operation, located within the Whitehouse development on the western expansion area of Milton Keynes. The Academy will have 1800 students when at full capacity. Watling Academy is part of the Denbigh Alliance MAT.
