We are looking for an Assistant to help delivery individual Hydrotherapy programs to our students in our own Hydrotherapy pool. Together with their class staff, the Hydro Assistant will carry out bespoke hydrotherapy programs for individual students, as drawn up by our physiotherapy team. The Assistant will also be responsible for pool health and safety whilst on duty. Opportunities to teach swimming to our students at public pools will be possible for suitably qualified candidates. The role includes working with young people with challenging behaviour, so physical and emotional resilience is required. Please se the attached job description and role profile.

This role is for a minimum of 11 hours per week during the school day. Applications are welcome from those with some swim teaching/lifeguarding/therapy/ Special Needs experience. Full training will be provided in the operation of our pool and the delivery of Hydrotherapy therapy programs. Visits to the school are encouraged.
