North Leamington School is very proud to achieve significantly positive outcomes for learners of all abilities. We continue to build on previous successes at GCSE, in 2019 we achieved, 76% 4+ in English and in Maths, 55% 5+ in English and Maths and more than a quarter of all grades in school were 7+. Progress in our Sixth Form is amongst the very best, with 60% of all grades achieved A*-B

We continue to be an oversubscribed school with an expanding sixth form, and have sustained continuous improvement in order to secure fantastic outcomes for all of our students.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious subject leader of French, with the ability to teach Spanish at KS3, who will contribute to shaping an outstanding future for NLS. This is a position of responsibility requiring some element of data analysis, quality assurance and development of staff. Our MFL team is very collaborative and French is well established at NLS. In 2019 81% of students achieved grade 5 or above at GCSE, with a third of students achieving 7+. Spanish is a growth language at NLS and currently students have the option to pick this up in Year 9.
