ICT School Leader job summary
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional ICT support in education? The Howard Partnership Trust is seeking an ICT School Leader to oversee and lead the ICT School Team, based at Oxted School, while supporting ICT services across multiple schools within our Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ICT support services and service desk performance for your schools, with your main base at Oxted School.
- Line manage, develop, and support the ICT support team, including induction, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborate with school leaders and colleagues to ensure ICT actively supports teaching and learning across the Trust.
- Share best practices, policies, and procedures across teams, and maintain up to date ICT documentation and user guides.
- Oversee ICT procurement and resource management, working with suppliers to ensure best value and sustainable purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures, including health & safety and safeguarding.
- Travel between schools within the Trust to provide leadership support when needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong ICT experience, ideally within an educational environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge and IT skills, including MS Office and database systems.
- Ability to manage projects and lead a team effectively.
- Experience with ICT procurement and resource management is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Commitment to health & safety, safeguarding, and upholding the Trust’s values.
