Salary MPS 1 – UPS 3 (£23,720 - £39,406) + TLR (£2368) per annum
Based at St Bede’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, Scunthorpe
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Catholic Multi Academy Trust. St Thérèse of Lisieux CMAT is one of four newly created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high quality support and services to all our head teachers, senior leaders and trustees.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive school where students achieve and make sustained progress as a result of our distinctive Catholic ethos. This role is suitable for NQTs and more experienced staff.
If successful, we offer you the opportunity to work in an OFSTED rated “Good” school with a strong culture of learning, where your contribution to a good ICT department. The department benefits from three ICT suites, currently ICT is an option subject and has groups in years 9-11, the department follow the BTEC qualification, support will be given to the successful candidate. The successful candidate will also be expected to support colleagues who are not specialist in ICT who deliver lessons at KS3.

Essential educational requirements
Experience of analysing complex data using ICT, devising strategies for addressing underperformance and identifying area for development
Thorough understanding and experience of current and future KS3/KS4 programme of study/syllabus requirements
Evidence of consistently collecting student and stakeholder views
Degree (for equivalent) and QTS/QTLS
Essential skills and experience
Experience of working in a secondary school
Experience of planning and delivering CPD
Evidence of Good or better teaching over time, evidenced by lesson observations and student outcomes
Experience in the quality improvement cycle of exam results analysis, SEF, SIP, Appraisal
A track record of good progress for students of different ages and abilities
Evidence of coaching and mentoring other staff
Evidence of being able to effectively judge the quality of teaching and learning using OFSTED criteria
