ICT Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, effective and enthusiastic specialist in ICT to start in September 2020, at this highly successful, heavily over-subscribed school which is firmly established as one of the highest performing secondary schools in the region (and in the top 10% of schools nationally). We gained ‘Good’ in our 2018 Ofsted inspection and as part of the Local Authority’s quality assurance strategy, we have gained Category 1 status, which is the highest category of school performance, for four years running.

The ICT department has an excellent reputation within the Academy and the successful candidate needs to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach all aspect of ICT from Year 7 to GCSE. We teach Level 3 BTEC Nationals Extended Certificate in IT at KS5. Both attainment and progress in ICT is very strong at GCSE.

Salary: Pay range between £24,371 - £40,489 per annum, according to the Academy Pay Policy.
