ICT Technician/SIMS Administrator (Technical) job summary
We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional and motivated individual to join us in the role of ICT Technician/SIMS Administrator (Technical) to support the work of the school by providing technical IT support to teachers and students and looking after the school's network.
This is a non-teaching role and the successful candidate will have a good knowledge of general IT hardware and software, will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working in an academic environment would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
This post is for 37 hours a week/52 weeks per year. The salary is Scale 3 (£17,681-£18,672) to Scale 4 (£18,870-£20,541) dependent on experience. This is subject to a pending decision on a pay award.
