What skills and experience we're looking for
A post at a new school is an exciting opportunity for a ICT Technician to support the development of the systems and procedures for IT among a founding body of committed staff that are growing a school from Year 7 up. Supporting the Network Manager you will continue to embed the new school’s ethos and IT functions with the added benefit of a brand-new building, all new facilities and support from a local, successful and experienced trust.
The purpose of this role is to:
- To maintain hardware and software used by pupils and staff and provide technical ICT support for teaching and learning.
- Play a key role in ensuring trust-wide network security and connectivity, meeting the need of curriculum and trust / school priorities.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified and/or has professional experience and strong technical background to support effective ICT service provision across the school and wider Trust (secondary and primary), providing technical and user support and guidance.
- An excellent team player and people person.
- Positive, open and has a friendly attitude to customer service, improvement and delivery.

The Brian Clarke Church of England Academy is a new 11-16 Free School that opened its doors to 240 Year 7 pupils in September 2022. We will continue to grow annually to a pupil body of 1200.
The school reflects the community it serves; multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-faith, within a Church of England ethos. There is a balance between faith intake (with equal allocations between two categories of Christian and other major world faiths) and non-faith intake from 3 concentric circles of 1, 2 and 3 miles around the school.
