What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a great secondary leader with a track record of improvement across KS3 and KS4? We are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Implementation Lead to oversee the impactful implementation of ITT/ECF within TSH remit and embed excellent teaching through CUSP pedagogical routines in USP secondary.

This unique role includes a 50/50 split between our Teaching School Hub and our Unity Secondary Curriculum implementation which is initially focussed on Geography and History which will include providing strategic leadership of the Early Careers Framework, leading to high quality provision for Early Careers Teachers across TSH delivery in Suffolk/Essex and within the Trust oversee robust and rigorous QA processes for analysing the quality of provision and in doing so, gather information to measure the impact of the ECF programme leading on the TSH strategic role to support local ITT delivery, increasing school engagement in ITT with all providers operating in the hub areas embedding research-led CUSP pedagogical practice and continued growth of CUSP in USP secondary schools with a focus on KS3 Geography and History and our Tutor Time Reading Programme raising standards and improving educational outcomes for pupils in KS3 Geography and History within Unity Schools Partnership secondary schools leading face to face and remote CPD, including Pupil Book Study across Unity Schools Partnership schools, as well as schools who subscribe to CUSP.

What are we looking for? We are looking for someone who has significant experience of leading KS3 and KS4 with a proven track record of positive outcomes for all pupils in those key stages as well as experience of supporting schools beyond your own setting. You will need to have the ability to draw on relevant and impactful research ideas from research that underpins CUSP to elevate practice within USP schools and have excellent understanding of evidence-led curriculum architecture and design. We are seeking a confident and innovative practitioner who can continue to drive our schools forward and ensure parity across our academies.
