An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) Multi-Academy Trust team as an Improvement and Development Partner.

IFtL is a growing trust that is strongly focussed on school improvement through a system leadership approach. We have prided ourselves in being outward facing and innovative in our development of schools. Maintaining and nurturing autonomy has allowed our schools to make rapid and sustainable progress that meets the differing needs of their communities. 

Each of our schools is unique in its own right. With this in mind, we maintain high standards and expectations through a shared understanding of a set of core values. We now wish to develop our Ethos of working with people and organisations beyond our trust even further.

We would like to present an opportunity for senior leaders to work with us across the academic year. The role would be project-based and has the opportunity to be between 5 and 15 days over the year.

In this role, you would work with Headteachers and the senior team to evaluate their progress and attainment in all areas of the schools and support them to develop their strategy to improve and develop. You would be a part of our school improvement team that will support you in this role and provide a resource that can be deployed to the schools you support.

Key Objectives of the role include: 
  • To assist the CEO and Education Team in supporting the improvement and development of schools 
  • To make a leading contribution to the school’s evaluation, monitoring, and review processes, including but not limited to; quality of education, outcomes and leadership 

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a proven track record of improving the quality education 
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of leadership 
  • Be committed to working in partnerships with schools to upold their Ethos and culture 
  • Understand the the importance of strong transparent feedback 
  • Demonstrate an outward facing approach to school improvement 

With schools across Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire, travel between locations is expected
