A unique opportunity has arisen, and Royal Rise Primary School is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Inclusion and Wellbeing lead/Family Liaison Officer (FLO) who would like to work in our school supporting families, children and staff to help them overcome barriers to learning and participation.
The main focus of the role will be to..
Build relationships and establish positive relationships with families and children, and work to encourage parental involvement in the school.
Provide guidance on a range of issues, such as supporting a child's learning, accessing community resources, and dealing with concerns.
Identify problems and Work with families and teachers to identify issues that may be impacting a child's education or wellbeing.
Develop plans and Work with families, teachers and outside agencies to develop parenting skills and plans to resolve problems.
Liaise with professionals, such as education welfare officers, educational psychologists, the police, and social services.
Monitor attendance and work with families and teachers to overcome barriers to learning.
Supporting pupils with SEND and other additional needs. Working alongside, inside and outside the classroom with individuals and or small groups.
