What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an inspirational INCO to further develop and lead inclusion and SEND within Discovery Multi Academy Trust by joining one of our highly committed school team’s. Candidates should have:
- BEd or PGCE primary Education
- Teaching across Key Stages
- Experience of working with children with SEND
- Previous experience of being a SENCo/Inclusion Co-Ordinator
- Experience of collecting and using data to create change
- Working towards or gained SEND Qualification
- The ability to support and lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children
- Skilful in working with pupils with a range of different abilities and needs, including SEMH
- To work effectively with the Head of School and leadership team to achieve excellence
- A proven ability to lead and work within a team
- Good management, organisation and communication skills enabling liaison with a variety of external agencies
- Have an interest and passion for developing the trauma informed provision in the first mentally healthy organisation in the UK
