Permanent position
The Board of Trustees wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher to join the Harmony Trust Inclusion Service. The successful postholder will be initially deployed to teach within our Inclusion Hub at Richmond Academy. The Inclusion Hub offers an integrated approach for pupils with SEND and is designed to meet the complex needs of those pupils.

The successful candidate will:
• Have strong knowledge of teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs including those with ASD and SLCN
• Be able to deploy appropriate resources, strategies and interventions so that pupils are able to thrive and make progress both socially and academically
• have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour for pupils with SEND
• Have experience of using assessment effectively to develop appropriate curriculum plans for pupils
• Build effective relationships with parents as partners in their child’s learning
• Support others within their team as part of their professional development
• Work effectively with the Academy SENDCo and Trust Leaders to further develop provision and practice
• be an excellent Teacher with potential to develop further in the Inclusion Service and wider Trust
• lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
• have a commitment to supporting & developing the learning of SEND learners
• support the CEO and Principal in implementing the Inclusion Strategy
• be responsible for the SEND duties as described in the job description
