What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a dynamic and amibitious Inclusion Lead who:

  • Has experience and a proven track record of successful primay school teaching and inclusion leadership.

  • Believes in an inclusive school, and is passionate about every child achieving.

  • Will encourage high aspirations in all of our children and their families, and be able to lead, inspire and support a cohesive staff team who are keen to develop.

  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, and has a sound understanding of inclusion and SEND.

  • Will have completed the SENCo diploma.

As Inclusion Lead you will be responsible for managing a team of Teaching Assistants, including a Thrive trained practitioner, using your own dedicated teaching space. The role does not come with any classroom responsibility so that you can focus fully on the role. In addition, the Inclusion Lead has an experienced Admin support for 8 hours per week. The Inclusion Lead will be a key member of our Leadership Team and this would be a great role for SENDCos to further develop their leadership experience.
