What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Inclusion Lead to join a highly motivated team in an outstanding school (Ofsted, April 2023). We are seeking a dynamic teacher with high expectations and a happy disposition. You will need to have a strong track record of (at least) good teaching and excellent pupil progress rates.

  • Be experienced /qualified/or be willing to train in the role of a Primary SENCO
  • Take responsibility for SEN/inclusion provision
  • Play a key role in school leadership and management
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to motivate and support staff and pupils
  • Be an exemplary teacher
  • Have high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
  • Be committed to working in close partnership with parents, governors and the wider community.

Our pupils are aged 3 – 11, ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and mainly live in the area surrounding the school. We also have a Personalised Learning Centre that offers specialist provision for 10 pupils. This means we have over 510 pupils in total.
