What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven skills and ability to work with young people, families, schools and other agencies, with a passion for delivering outcomes.
  • Ability and desire to model and demonstrate our values.
  • Professional knowledge of young people, secondary education and family support work.
  • Knowledge on the parent involvement requirements in law.
  • Ability to support pupils, signposting them to specialised services and enhancing individual learning and aspirations.
  • Ability to improve levels of communication between home and school.

The essential requirements for this role are;

  • Minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Level 4 qualification in education or health or Minimum of 2 year’s experience in education, health, social care or youth work.
  • Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs, including social emotional and mental health needs.
