Inclusion Manager job summary

About role: The Hundred of Hoo Academy are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Manager, joining our team from May 2022. Our successful candidate will be passionate about working with students, playing a pivotal role working across the academy to:

To supervise and coordinate the implementation and delivery of the Academy’s Isolation Unit called the Learning Support Unit (LSU) as part of the Academy’s Behaviour Management system.
To educate, practice and provide feedback and strategies on positive attitudes and social skills.
To promote the importance of inclusion not exclusion with students.
Supervise and control young people within Isolation, ensuring pupils are completing assigned work to a good standard and provide opportunities for pupils to reflect on their behaviour and attitudes.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This is a permanent position offering an actual salary ranging from £20,513 - £26,001 per annum (£23,953 - £30,095 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience, based on 37 hours per week (8.00am - 4.00pm, with a 3.30pm finish on Wednesdays) and Term Time + 1 week inset. The salary will be discussed at point of offer based on experience and the scope that the successful candidate brings to the role.
