We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious Inclusion Mentor to support a students in our Remove Room, a key aspect of the academy's behaviour for learning policy. Under the direction of the Assistant Principal Data and Assessment, your role will be to target and support identified students to support them to overcome barriers to learning both within and outside academy.

Working for 37 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 working weeks), you will have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student.

Based in Gorleston, Cliff Park Ormiston Academy is a vibrant and happy 11-16 secondary comprehensive academy in the heart of the community. OAT support all staff so that they can enhance and develop their professional skills whatever their role within the trust.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • has experience of working in a support capacity with young people.
  • has good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
  • is able to communicate effectively and relate well with students.
  • are able to encourage students to learn.
  • can provide a positive and engaging environment and inspire a strong work ethic for our students.
