Inclusion Officer job summary

The Inclusion Officer will manage students placed in the reflection room following removal from mainstream education, for short term fixed periods of time. This is a key role within the pastoral structure of our school and is essential in establishing the purposeful and structured environment in which Stowmarket students shine.

The hours of work in this post are 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

The Inclusion Officer position requires someone who is robust and rigorous but caring and sensitive to the needs of the individual and who believes in the importance of paying attention to detail. The position is demanding but rewarding and requires someone who can multi-task, prioritise demands yet be creative with how we can support students and devise plans to work with them and their families.
