We are seeking to appoint someone as an advocate for inclusive practice in mainstream schools. You will utilise mentoring and coaching skills to work directly with pupils at risk of permanent exclusion in mainstream secondary schools. An ability to offer experiential opportunities to engage pupils would be an asset e.g sport, art, drama, cooking. Your work will also involve you supporting secondary school staff to identify and apply strategies to support pupils to succeed.

You will work as part of the WSAPC Inclusion Team to provide support and mentoring to children and staff in mainstream schools to develop skills and strategies in order to avoid permanent exclusions.
