At Phoenix we have a strong belief that successful provision for students with SEND benefits all students; provision must be built in, not bolted on. This role will involve the promotion of quality-first teaching as a means of promoting inclusion, therefore the successful candidate will be able to model outstanding teaching in the classroom to develop the practice of all staff. You will be responsible for the oversight of the SEND Department. You will make effective use of data to ensure the success of SEND students, monitoring and leading strategically on the SEND provision, ensuring there are policies, procedures, systems, structures, resources and personnel in place to promote the progress and outcomes of SEND students at Phoenix.
