Stafford Junior School is looking for a highly motivated and committed Individual Needs Assistant who is passionate and enthusiastic to join in the continued development and success of our team. If you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm, this could be the perfect role for you.

We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupils to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • experience of supporting children in a classroom environment

  • knowledge and understanding of child development

  • strong communication and skill in establishing good relationships with pupils, staff and parents

  • excellent organisation skills

  • a patient, supportive and celebratory approach to support and empower pupils who are vulnerable with their learning and their self esteem

  • enthusiasm, creativity and positivity - a positive outlook, with integrity, determination and resilience

  • someone who will genuinely care about our children and who will take time to get to know them, nurture their individual talents, and is committed to supporting them, both personally and academically

The successful candidate will be responsible for pupils learning and wellbeing, sharing good practice in the classroom setting and at play/lunchtimes and one to one SEN pupil support. You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our pupils.
