What skills and experience we're looking for
Main purpose of the post:
- Cover and lead class teaching during the absence of teachers who will be undertaking school improvement activities – Up to 3 days per week.
- Lead intervention sessions for targeted pupils
- Contribute to effective assessment and planning by supporting the monitoring, recording and reporting of pupil performance and progress as appropriate.
- Use allocated time to devise clearly structured activities or programmes that interest and motivate learners and advance their learning.
- To assist with the development and implementation of Provision Maps.
- To liaise regularly with the class teacher and take part in planning meetings, staff meetings and INSET days.
- Coach and/or mentor Teaching Assistants across the school and Trust
