Intervention Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Intervention Assistant at this successful and over-subscribed secondary school in north Leeds, graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
The successful candidate will have high aspirations for all students and will share our commitment to further raising achievement across the 11-18 age range.
The Intervention Assistant will support vulnerable and disadvantaged students in an Intervention Base for small groups of students or one to one if required. Interventions will mostly be linked to classroom learning and have a literacy/numeracy focus however other inteerventions will also be required i.e., social skills speech and language, interventions to support autistic students, ADAN and Lexia.
