What skills and experience we're looking for
Armley Park Primary School are seeking to appoint an Intervention Lead to join our strong school team and support teaching and learning in our school. We welcome applications from candidates with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. Please state your areas of strength on your application form eg, communication and language, SEMH, neurodivergence or cognition and learning.
This vacancy will suit candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have the best outcomes for children at heart. Knowledge and/or experience of pupils with SEN is essential.
We are looking for candidates who have:
Experience of working with children with a wide range of additional needs in schools.
Experience of delivering successful interventions which have led to positive outcomes.
A passion for supporting children to learn.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and outside agencies.
Energy and enthusiasm for this exciting challenge.
High expectations of children.
Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum.
A commitment to continuing professional development.
