Intervention & Support Teacher job summary
We want to add extra teaching capacity to our Key Stage 2 team as due to recent admissions our classes in Years 3 to 6 have reached capacity. Under the line management of our Raising Standards Lead this teacher will enable us to add rigour and precision to intervention, class teaching, group work and 1:1 support / tutoring for upper KS2. They will also assist in EAL pupil induction and teaching. We are seeking a like-minded colleague to join us and fulfill this role. The teacher may also expect to offer internal supply for cover to ensure when KS2 teachers require time out of class (e.g. for their leadership role, Trust CPD, in the event of staff absence due to Covid etc) we have robust support in place so learning gaps are not created.
This is a full time position that is temporary until 31st August 2024.
