What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a capable and proactive person to provide assistance to the IT Network Manager in the management of the school’s IT support service.

To work effectively in this key role, you willhave excellent communication and organisation skills, have a structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving, and be a competent IT user with an understanding of diagnosing and correcting straightforward faults. Applicants will be motivated, versatile and resourceful, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The ability to thrive in a busy, sometimes unpredictable, school environment and to work well and remain calm under pressure are essential.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective Girls’ school of 1541 students with 453 students in the sixth form (88 boys). We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.
