We are seeking to recruit a full-time IT MManager at this 11-188grammar school for boys with a coeducational Sixth form. This exciting role will provide a unique opportunity to support our school in providing the very best for our students.
Following a year when reliance on the whole gamut of information technology has never been higher, we are seeking to appoint a creative,
flexible and nimble IT Manager. It is essential that the IT Manager is able to analyse complex IT issues, and propose and implement effective
solutions that meet the needs of the organisation. It is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, with our recent
designation as one of only 87 national Teaching School Hubs providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute to the
whole educational landscape across Buckinghamshire.
Predominantly cloud-based, the school uses GSuite as its main platform leveraging tools such as Google Classroom to enhance Teaching &
Learning. To support this, most of our network has recently been replaced with Ubiquiti hardware, and we utilise virtual machines on a variety of
cloud platforms. As a result, Software as a Service (SaaS) is an area of growth for the team and one the successful candidate will help to
develop.
