What skills and experience we're looking for
The GORSE Academies Trust is seeking to recruit an inspirational IT Manager to join our friendly central team. The IT Manager will lead and manage IT teams, services, and platforms within their designated establishments (IT Hub). This role involves leading a small but technically diverse team of IT professionals, managing substantial budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to support educational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and people management skills.
The successful candidate will be based at one of our secondary academies as part of an IT Service Hub.
We are looking for an individual who has:
- Hold or currently working towards a relevant level 4 qualification.
- Full UK driving license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior technical role.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven record of delivering a project from end to end.
