We are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced IT/Network Manager to lead our school and our IT Technicians on all IT matters – i.e. technical planning, operational delivery and the ongoing development of all aspects of the school’s IT systems and projects.

The successful candidate will have considerable technical expertise, interpersonal and management skills and the ability to keep our school up-to-date with IT developments. This is a hands on management role and as such candidates will be required to work flexibly and operate at both a strategic and operational level.

We are looking for candidates who:

have considerable technical experience and expertise across a broad spectrum of IT considerations, applications and areas
have experience of management of a large IT network
have experience of working with IT service providers and partners to agreed SLA’s
can work independently and use own initiative, manage workloads and assign priorities for the IT team and can work effectively with colleagues across the school
have excellent interpersonal and management skills necessary to forge strong and effective working relationships with colleagues, team members and outside agencies
