Location: Front Lawn Primary Academy based

Salary / salary range: £20,000-28,000 FTE

Status: Fixed Term contract until 31st August 2021, with review at end of contract

Our ultimate aim is to ensure we drive educational standards through the provision of outstanding teaching, leadership and learning for all.

We are looking to recruit for an exciting new position as IT Technical Support at TKAT.

The successful candidate will have a key role in supporting strategic change across school’s in the Coast region. For 3 days per week you will be based at Front Lawn Primary Academy. You may be required to travel to other schools in the coastal region between Selsey, Chichester and Havant region so a clean driving licence and own car will be essential to this role.

Working in line with our core values and vision, We are looking for a Level 1 IT Technical support who will be jointly responsible for maintaining and administering the schools computer networks. Your primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be working closely with the users of our network in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

To be a successful candidate, will gain a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also develop the skills to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.
