Due to our continuing growth we are delighted to be recruiting to our friendly IT team.
This is a varied and developing role and we’d love to hear from you if you share our commitment and passion for working in IT and in education. We need you to already be developing your skills in IT, and be able to work with agility and initiative to identify and solve problems for a wide audience of students and staff. You will ideally already have had some work experience in IT and enjoy being part of a team. We would also welcome your application if IT is your hobby and you know you have lots of developing skills to contribute and to kick-start your career.
You will be supported to provide technical advice, IT support, maintenance and in-house development to assist our teaching and learning. Experience with using a Google environment would be beneficial as well as common desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.
We will ensure the right candidate is trained and supported to speedily develop in order to feel confident in our school IT environments.
This is a fantastic career opportunity to join a team where you can truly develop and make your mark contributing to a broad IT remit.
The permanent role will be located in one of our Secondary Schools but will also support users across our other 4 schools, both desk side and remotely, whilst benefiting from one-on-one support and project work with the IT Systems Administrator and GGLT Head of IT.
