What skills and experience we're looking for
Highgate Wood School is seeking to appoint a resourceful IT Technician to provide a sound technical support to all students and staff in a professional manner in our busy school environment. You will be under the direction of the Network Manager and be responsible for resolving IT calls raised as well as managing and maintaining the schools network infrastructure, workstations and peripherals, printers, AV equipment and online resources.
The successful candidate will have:
- A good level of ICT competency, excellent communications skills, organised, and the ability to work flexibly
- Compassion, energy, dedication, and enthusiasm to make a difference to the school
- Knowledge of providing a dedicated technical service
- Have a good understanding of compliance and IT security
- Be able to manage access and group policies for systems such as Active Directory, Share Point, Office 365, Adobe CC, Citrix, Cashless catering Systems, VMWare, Google Workspace, Paxton Access Control and Papercut.
