What skills and experience we're looking for

Learning without Limits Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced, customer focussed centralised IT team.

This is a Trust wide role as part of the IT support team providing outstanding customer focussed IT support to academies within the Trust, covering all aspects of IT support from end user to equipment and services. This role will require regular travel between academies and the Trust Offices, included supported schools in Coventry.

We offer a competitive starting salary with generous holiday entitlement of 26-31 days per annum, plus bank holidays. This permanent role is full time and for 37 hours per week, with some flexibility on your start and finish times.

LwLAT is a small multi-academy trust based in the heart of Leicester City, serving diverse and vibrant communities. We are at an incredibly exciting phase of our development as we look to appoint additional support to our central team.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Trust’s central IT Team who demonstrate outstanding customer service, practise and compliance in all they do. The successful candidate will have the technical expertise to provide the right level of support to the team, along with the personal skills to deliver our service to the high levels we expect from all our staff.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage own workload through the allocation of calls via the helpdesk.
  • Providing outstanding, customer focussed first and second line ICT support to staff and students.
  • Maintenance of all ICT rooms and equipment
  • Evaluate new and existing software.
  • Attend and contribute to ICT related meetings.
