Salary H5 -H6 £25119 - £29777 per annum plus Outer fringe

37 hours a week and 52 weeks a year

Permanent vacancy (subject to 6 month probationary period)

Start date - September 2024

Hours are Mon to Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm or similar (30 min lunch)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT team in an Academy that is committed to the provision of quality IT resources for students and staff. The Marlborough Science Academy provides a modern, dynamic and challenging work environment with a wide range of opportunities to gain experience in maintaining and developing network IT systems.

The successful candidate will be assisting in day-to-day support tasks as well as getting involved in projects across the school. The role requires a good understanding of current Windows operating systems for PC’s and Servers and you will ideally have a working knowledge of SIMS software. This is a varied and vital role that requires great flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to use initiative as well as a “can do” attitude in a pressurized environment.

This vacancy will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of the right to work in the UK.
