What skills and experience we're looking for

Working with our Careers and Enterprise team you will provide support to enable young people with learning difficulties and other disabilities to successfully engage with supported internships, work placements, carry out tasks at work and develop their independence and ability to progress to work in the future.

The role also includes engaging with and supporting employers to source and set up new placements and ensure that appropriate health and safety, safe guarding and monitoring processes are in place.

You must be able to engage with potential employers and secure work opportunities for students. You will need a car and business insurance.

Class Teachers - Main Scale + SEN (London fringe) A Class Teacher for primary SEMH cohort Full time. Preferably September 2023 start As class Teacher you will offer outstanding teaching to a small class of students and lead a team of support staff in the class, including performance management of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You must have UK QTS and SEN teaching experience or a keen interest in developing in this field. Teaching includes planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, evaluation and reporting responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with all other school staff in order to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for our students’ academic progress, care and therapeutic learning support and promotion of enrichment and life skills development. You will also work closely with the students’ families and other professionals. We are also seeking applications from Teachers with SEMH experience or keenness to learn how to meet the needs of children whose emotional regulation difficulties can be a barrier to their learning.
