Junior Science Technician job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person with a keen interest in science to join our large Science Department. This is a varied post involving all aspects of preparing and supporting practical science lessons, including the preparation and demonstration of experiments; managing and delivering resources to lessons; the maintenance of equipment and learning spaces in compliance with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations. Relevant experience would be an advantage although full training would be given. Excellent organisational and time management skills and a proactive approach are essential, as is a commitment to supporting students and colleagues.
