Key Stage 1 class teacher job summary
At All Saints’ CE Primary School in Newmarket we are looking for an excellent KS1 classroom practitioner who will have a commitment to the Christian ethos of the school and join our experienced team in contributing to our drive to excellence in standards, attitudes, creativity, relationships and behaviour. Early career teachers are welcome to apply. Team work is an important part of the All Saints’ ethos and the successful applicant will join staff who are positive, professional, willing to work with new initiatives and enthusiastic to see the children become the best that they can be.

The school is a single form entry school with a current role of 175 children, aged 5-11 years and is situated in the heart of Newmarket. Our classes are single year group, mixed ability and we pride ourselves on our provision for pupils who have special educational and emotional/social needs. We serve a rich and diverse catchment where an increasing number of our pupils have English as an additional language- currently 47%. We have developed an aspirational, inclusive ethos, where the needs and contribution of the individual are valued and the happy friendly atmosphere in the school is often remarked upon by visitors.
At All Saints’ we have a good number of Teaching Assistants, who work closely with the teaching staff to support pupils, colleagues and the wider aspects of school life. Throughout the school there is a strong focus on children's learning and emotional/social development with close attention to all areas of inclusion.
