What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an inspirational Key Stage 1 teacher to join our fantastic school, staff team and friendly community. You will teach our mixed-age Year 1 and Year 2 class and work closely with our experienced EYFS team to ensure strong links, progression and a high-quality learning experience for all pupils across Reception and Key Stage 1.
You will:
Have high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge all pupils to shine and achieve their potential
Be creative, adaptable and have a passion for delivering a rich and exciting curriculum, and high-quality learning experiences for all children
Be committed to creating a nurturing and caring ethos in which pupils can flourish
Have a positive attitude and great communication skills
Be committed to working collaboratively and building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
Experience of teaching and managing a mixed-age class and curriculum, especially within Key Stage 1, and a strong knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
