The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a class teacher mentor and the supervision of a member of the leadership team. The Governors of Monks Coppenhall Academy seek to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated 1.0 FTE Key Stage 1 class teacher.

This is a temporary position to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. There is flexibility to offer a start date of either September 2025 or after the Autumn half term. This can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

It is expected the contract will end in July 2026 when the postholder returns.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and requires all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. References will be taken up for all shortlisted candidates prior to the interview. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Barring Service Check, along with other relevant employment checks.
