Moorings Way Infant School
We would like a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our friendly team at Mooring Way Infant School.
We are looking for someone who has the drive, passion and skills to work at our school based in Portsmouth. Our school is a friendly, welcoming place with children who are full of energy and life. Learning is at the heart of what we do and we believe that all children enjoy their time at school.

We are looking for someone who:
Has QTS and excellent knowledge and experience of teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Is dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
Is passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and interpersonal skills
Is able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
Has excellent understanding of current research and practice in Key Stage 1
Has excellent classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
Has Good or Outstanding practice, along with high expectations for themselves and the children
Has a proven track record of supporting teachers to develop their practice

Moorings Way Infant School is situated on the eastern side of Portsmouth. We are lucky to be surrounded by open space and are a minute’s walk from the shoreline.
Our school is a fabulous place to be. We have a strong vision and work hard at all times to make sure we are aiming high. Learning is at the heart of our school community.
