About the Role

Danesfield Middle School is on an exciting journey of rapid improvement, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 (Years 5–8), working with pupils at a crucial stage in their development.

We are looking for someone who will not only deliver high-quality PE lessons, but also play a key role in developing our extra-curricular sport offer. A willingness to lead clubs, organise fixtures, and promote participation for all pupils is essential.


You will:

• Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons across Years 5–8

• Inspire confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity

• Lead sports clubs and support a broad extra-curricular programme

• Organise and contribute to fixtures and competitive opportunities

• Play an active role in the wider life of the school


We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent sports coaching/teaching qualification

• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE and school sport

• Is energetic, organised and keen to get involved beyond the classroom

• Has high expectations for all pupils and values inclusive participation

• Thrives as part of a collaborative team
