Are you an ECT looking for a strong, supportive school in which to undertake your induction? Are you an established teacher looking for a change or a more nurturing team? Well, look no further!

We are looking to recruit three exceptional Key Stage Two class teachers to join our thriving school [two permanent, full-time contacts, one full-time maternity cover for a year, with the possibility of this being extended beyond the first year – please indicate which you are applying for in your letter of application].

Candidates must have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum and the principles of evidence-based high-quality teaching and learning, and use this knowledge to creatively adapt their practice so all their pupils ‘soar to success’.

The successful candidate will be committed to working collaboratively within their year group team and key stage teams, as by working together we can ensure the best outcomes for all.

You would be joining a friendly, supportive and dedicated team who want the best for you as well as each and every child in their care. We are committed to each person’s professional development and passionately believe that high-quality CPD will motivate and challenge you to develop and strengthen your confidence and impact in the classroom and beyond.

We would welcome applications from experienced as well as early career teachers, for a September or January start.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Thoughtful about teaching and learning and is a creative practitioner looking to try new strategies proven to have a positive impact
  • Able to support children to develop their independence
  • Committed to working as part of a team to provide a caring and positive learning environment for all our pupils
  • Able to adapt their teaching and learning to reflect a range of pupils’ different abilities and specific needs, using school and external services guidance as appropriate
  • Committed to supporting pupils to learn life skills reflected through our school aims
  • Able to model high expectations and a reflective attitude to becoming even better
  • Able to motivate and inspire our children through positive professional relationships
  • Able to implement effective positive behaviour management skills (we are a CTT school and have a restorative therapeutic approach)
  • Committed to their safeguarding duties and taking an active part in the wider aspects of school life which can impact so positively on a child’s wider development

  • Motivated pupils, who enjoy learning and behave well
  • Supportive staff, governing body and parents, who work together to meet the needs of all our pupils
