What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our team. Staff at Fairmeadows should be punctual, polite and committed to enriching children's experiences. All teachers at Fairmeadows lead a subject area and are expected to support each other and ensure standards remain high.


We use technology extensively in our teaching, so familiarity and confidence with online platforms is essential.

Staff should prioritise safeguarding and have a pastoral interest in pupils and be confident to report issues to the DSL.

The Year 4 teacher will teach a class of 30 pupils with the support of a single TA and lead the subject area of history.


Planning follows our own schemes of work and for non-core subjects Chris Quigley, We supplement planning with resources such as Hamilton Trust.
