Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant x 2 Posts job summary
West Park Primary School wishes to appoint two Teaching Assistants for our dedicated Key Stage 2 team and has vacancies for two suitably experienced, enthusiastic and committed individuals in our friendly and welcoming school. These positions would commence on 5th September 2022
Post 1:
Teaching Assistant (Band 5) Spinal Column Point 5 £12,796.33 per annum, 28.75 hours per week , a working schedule of 8.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday , term time only (190 days per year). Fixed-term until 31st August 2023
Post 2:
Teaching Assistant (Band 5) Spinal Column Point 5 £10,014.52 per annum pro rata, 22.5 hours per week , a working schedule of 8.30am to 1pm Monday to Friday , term time only (190 days per year). Fixed-term until 31st August 2023.
Applicants should possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with a commitment to the development of pupils, as well as supporting teachers in delivering planned work. We value staff with a caring nature who want the best for pupils at all times.
Candidates will have experience of working as a classroom or teaching assistant, within a KS1 or KS2 primary school environment. This could include a successful student placement.
Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
