What skills and experience we're looking for

Required for September 2024

Science Teacher & KS3 Co-ordinator (TLR 2.1)

M1 – UPS3 (£31,350 - £47,839 per annum) plus TLR (£3,214)

The KS3 coordinator will work closely with the Head of Science and subject Heads. The post will suit an enthusiastic, well-qualified specialist in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics to teach at all levels within a dynamic, energetic department which thrives on continual development of its teaching and learning processes. Examination results are excellent and the subject enjoys a high status within the school. Over 200 students study science in the sixth form. The school has excellent science facilities including a newly built dedicated STEM Centre.

For candidates with PGCE credits, we are able to support the completion of an MA. Accommodation at a very competitive rate may be available. Our admissions policy prioritises children of staff.
