Key Stage 3 Teacher for Intervention Hub job summary
Required from 1 September 2022
The Governors wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to work with small groups of students from KS3 to support their learning. The member of staff will work in a bespoke Intervention area, delivering English, Mathematics and Science to students for a number of weeks. The students will then graduate back into their usual classrooms, with some further support from the teacher.
This is a new role in the school and offers the appointed person an opportunity to work creatively and thematically, within the subject frameworks. Experience in using a range of behaviour strategies would be advantageous. Support will be given by the Student Support, Learning Support and Curriculum areas.
Commitment to safeguarding
All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.
